Superb

It was a very comfortable...

Liked: We were very satisfied with our stay. Everyone at the hotel was kind and helpful, we’d like to thank them all again for their support throughout our visit.There’s a U-Bahn station just 550 meters away, which we used for transportation. On our way to the airport, we used the S-Bahn, which was about 750 meters away very convenient.The rooms were clean, and we had no issues in terms of hygiene. We already knew what to expect in the room, so nothing came as a surprise. I can confidently say that everything has been thoughtfully designed for guests with disabilities, which was wonderful.Breakfast was nice and runs from 7 to 10 a.m. I wish it continued until 10:30 or 11, but that’s not a big deal. Items were replenished when requested. The croissant was truly delicious. As a Turkish guest used to a traditional Turkish breakfast, I can say I felt fully satisfied with what was offered.There’s also a water dispenser in the lobby where you can drink unlimited water. This feature was a true blessing during the hot summer days we’re genuinely grateful. Guest satisfaction can be this simple; I wish more hotels offered this.All in all, this is definitely a hotel I would choose again. Many thanks to everyone.

Really nice home-base for Cologne...

Liked: No doubt about it: this is a quirky hotel, and feels a bit like sleeping in a former Catholic seminary (perhaps it is?). However, it offers exceptional value for this location in Cologne. The room was huge, with lots of windows, and very comfortable beds. Breakfast in particular exceeded my expectations--the buffet is huge, with great quality and selection. Oh--and a wonderful drinking water machine in the lobby provides cool water (both sparkling and flat) at any time--a very nice touch!
Disliked: The lighting in the rooms should really be rethought. A bright light in the entry way is on a motion-censor trigger. If someone in the room gets up to use the bathroom at night, you will probably be woken up too, when this light is inevitably triggered.
