Liked: Excellent location by the river. Great walks. Dog welcome in all areas of the hotel and well provided for in the room. Staff warmed up to us over the three days. Receptionist personally picked up our paper every day.Chef made a very good effort to provide alternate vegetarian food. Very good breakfasts. Comfortable bed. Good shower.
Disliked: First room (No7) was by the boilers and was noisy all night. Moved us to another room without any fuss.Rooms are very small and stuffy in warmer weather. Bathroom was very cramped. Need more hooks on the back of the bathroom door.Menu for vegetarian food was limited.

Disliked: The bacon was a little overdone….I, as a guest, screwed the handle backon the toaster…fresh fruit needed to bemore plentiful….the staff were great!!
