Nice, easy B&B but sleeping...

Liked: The room was rather small but impeccably clean and practical. It was nice and quiet and the hostess was very friendly. Free parking in front of the building. With a car an easy drive from Derby centre.
Disliked: The bed had an impressive iron frame but was too big for the room and you always had to take care not to hit yourself at the big iron bedposts when getting in and out of bed. My back struggled with the very soft mattress that didn’t support it or adapt.

A decent location, great value...

Liked: The property offered great value for money and was a location easily commutable from train station, local takeaways for a meal when you arrive late, and/or city centre. However, didn’t go into the city centre myself. The breakfast is nice, good quality and value for money. The owners are lovely people, very welcoming, and gave me a lift to the office near by when I couldn’t get a cab in time. The owners are welcoming and help as much as they can.

Disliked: Uncomfortable nights sleep due to the bed,felt like I had springs in my backWas woken up far to early as being next door to the kitchen,so heard every pan and clatter.

Great hotel

Liked: The room was pleasant , great mattress on the bed . Spotlessly clean . Lovely host Sharon was available to answer any questions. Breakfast was good .
Disliked: Nothing

A great stay, I will...

Liked: Excellent breakfast, and a comfortable room. The shower is great. Flexible checking in. Location close to nearby groceries and takeaway areas.
Disliked: Parking is tight. Cars from nearby business are blocking the parking area. will be good to have a working desk in the room, for people commuting for business.

Excellent value for working at...

Liked: Really good value, considering it included a breakfast. Nice to be able to sit outside in the garden too. Room was also a good size etc.
Disliked: Can't really compain given the price, but in an ideal world there would be aircon (it was quite hot), a desk to work on (I had some to do) and a bath
