Idyllic stay in a beautiful...

Liked: The location is very beautiful on the bank of the river Dee. It really was a room with a view .Dinner on both nights was exceptional. We really appreciated the information we were given about the history of the house and its association with the Knights Templar . A Knight in Armour still waits in the Great Hall above and to the right of the ancient fireplace .
Disliked: Perhaps a little attention to the outside paintwork would help but the hotel is in stunning gardens and the cherry blossom was in bloom . The internal decoration is fresh and of a high standard .

A charming hotel.

Liked: This was a last-minute booking whilst on our road trip, and I am so happy to have stumbled upon it! A gorgeous location and the hotel is very charming. We stayed in a ground floor suite, which had patio doors that opened up onto the river bank. Dinner was delicious, and our breakfast was yummy too.
Disliked: No complaints at all.

Gorgeous hotel in the perfect...

Liked: What a stunning hotel in a gorgeous location on the river with fantastic staff. I loved our room with massive bathroom everything so clean looked new. Good breakfast options in a lovely room xx
Disliked: Just wish breakfast was included with every room or special offers for 2 maybe?? as we were attending a wedding & booked in advance & couldn’t book a non-refundable room just in case which included breakfast at fab price but still treated ourselves and was lovely xx

Wonderful staff, exceptional service and...

Liked: Always very welcoming, the atmosphere’s always warm, friendly and calming. I love the junior suite (Room 112) and try to stay here when possible. The EV car charger was available whenever I needed it although only 1 of the 3 is available for any car, the other 2 are for Tesla
Disliked: Sometimes can find the menu is rather limited but that’s personal preference. The quality of the food is exceptional though. If I had to be really picky the only thing that I could fault from my trip last week was there was a couple of lipstick marks on a glass in the room.
