Distressing and a big disappointment.

Liked: The property is in a great location.
Disliked: The iron in my room was dirty, and left marks on my dress when I started using it. An issue which would usually be easily rectified by a hotel. However the manager that came to my room after I called reception was very rude and disdainful towards me. They did not offer to provide a clean iron, did not acknowledge the inconvenience of my stained dress, did not acknowledge the hotel’s responsibility, but rather quite rudely indicated that they would not assist cleaning my dress. I felt bullied and humiliated. Eventually the manager agreed to have my dress washed at the hotel. It was distressing to be treated that way and I did not feel safe in that situation. Quite contrary to the hotel’s values which are displayed on the premises.
