Liked: It was nice and cozy with a touch of anticness.
Disliked: It was all great, even when we expected it to be cold, we easily warmed it up with the gas heater and portable heater in bedroom.

Lovely location, but the room...

Liked: Beautiful location , close to restaurants etc in Olinda. Nice room setup in a historical building. Generous breakfast ingredients to make breakfast for two people. Hosts were polite and helpful.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the weekend we stayed was a scorching 36+ degrees. The room wasn't well equipped for the heat at all. The ceiling fan was barely working, and the 2 backup portable floor fans that were left in the room were honestly not great either. The room became like an oven during the night, even with the windows wound opened and all fans going. The ceiling fan needs to be repaired desperately so it can get to a speed beyond level 1. or alternatively, a split system installed for this to be suitable for accommodation during the warmer months. Unfortunately, this did place a large dampner on our stay, which was disappointing. If we had known in advance that the ceiling fan was not working to its full capacity, we wouldn't have stayed here for the weekend.
