In the beautiful Hampshire countryside this colonial-style hotel has a pool a sauna and free parking. Marwell Zoo is opposite the hotel and both Winchester and Southampton are within a 10-mile radius for the property. Each room at the Marwell Hotel has a flat-screen TV free Wi-Fi and free tea and coffee making facilities. Many rooms have woodlands views while all have a private bathroom. The Dining Room Restaurant provides a menu based on locally sourced seasonal produce. Serving breakfast and a dinner menu the relaxed bar and lounge also offers a range of drinks. Guests have free use of the leisure center which features an indoor heated swimming pool. Marwell Hotel's golf center with two 18-hole courses is within a few minutes' drive. Meh

Liked: Attended for a wedding. Lovely set up for the bride and groom
Disliked: Dated decorFood was poor at the wedding. Bacon baps with little bacon. Not enough chips for everyone. Slow service at breakfast.

Liked: The location
Disliked: The property is tired and needs updating. There were things not working and the heating was stuck on. The dinning room was filthy. Food wasn’t great and very expensive.

Helpful friendly staff

Liked: Stay was excellent, staff especially Amber who made us feel so welcome. Helped us find a safe place to lock up our bikes as we were on a bike tour. Bar staff and breakfast staff also very nice.

Comfortable and relaxing

Liked: Easy to find location, plenty of parking, good for young children.Heated indoor pool
Disliked: Could do with a renovation but the prices reflect this

Very enjoyable.

Liked: Size of the room and facilities was good.
Disliked: Some of the fixtures were a bit tired. Particularly in the bathroom.
