Disappointing

Clean and affordable

Liked: The owners/caretakers were super nice. So nice that I really don't want to say anything bad about this place. It was clean which is what I was hoping for. It's easy to find. The grounds are well kept and it's a nice quiet area. There's a fridge and microwave in the room. Free wi-fi that doesn't require a password and it was decent wi-fi also. The beds were surprisingly comfy.
Disliked: Like I mentioned, the caretakers a so sweet and nice that it kills me to write this review. The room was clean but it is in a major need of an overhaul. Like I mean MAJOR. There was painter's tape on the locks inside of the door, the sink needed new caulking, the pillows are flat, flat, flat. It has a musty smell. No hairdryer and no iron and I was in need of both. I guess I shouldn't assume there would be one in every place I stay. There is also no closet to hang your clothes and jackets in. The floors need redoing. Being a former interior designer, I so wanted to go buy a can of paint, brush, etc... and fix it up since it has so much potential. But the price was right and it was clean.
