Warm and friendly welcome!

Liked: I’ve never come across a more dog friendly hotel. The staff were so warm, friendly and kind. It was a real pleasure to be their guests and they were so effusive towards the dogs that it felt like a home from home! Incredible hospitality and lovely hotel in a delightful location.

Where was the ‘fine dining’?

Liked: Great location, comfortable room, friendly staff.
Disliked: Slow service in restaurant, which is advertised as ‘fine dining’ but which it is certainly not. Food was fine, but waiting staff were ‘friendly’ rather than ‘professional’. No white linen tablecloths or napkins! Not enough staff for the number of diners. Extraordinary that food has to be carried from kitchen through main hall and reception area to restaurant. And how do the less mobile manage all those stairs!!

Liked: A fab location, fab hotel, fab staff, fab food & we had fab weather to top it off!! I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat.. I’m gutted we were only there for 1 night! They gave extras like water in the room, a little touch but a great one for me. Do the coastal path to the left & cross the Scottish path- such a lovely walk..
Disliked: Nothing I didn’t like
