Everything was great other than...
Liked: Convenience…loved the location and Sofitel staff were very accommodating
Disliked: 10am checkout was ridiculous probably wouldn’t stay again or recommend to anyone because of it. 11 would be way more reasonable, especially if you want international people to stay.

Good
Liked: All facilities were as expected. The only down sides were difficulty finding the entrance of the hotel (since it is located within the Sofitel Hotel) and how to access Level 3 where the reception is. There is no restaurant in the hotel but the friendly reception staff directed me to the restaurant within the Sofitel which, although quite expensive, was adequate.

Superb
Liked: Location, service, room size, comfort - allAmazing!
Disliked: There were a few very simple things that could have been improved for a near perfect stay - the curtains were missing a lot of hooks and two of the blinds were damaged (one would get stuck half way and another was on backwards so got twisted while putting up/down)

Health and safety
Liked: The hotel was first class. Beautiful room, spacious and lacked for nothing. No complaints
Disliked: Unfortunately I had a fall in the reception foyer area. There were lots of beautiful water features. But it was so dark and I tripped I fell in one !! The floor and low walls surrounding them were all black marble and not lit. We were told by a member of staff after my fall, that the lights had been turned off because the hotel wasn't busy. Unbelievable, there were people staying and it should have been lit. I hurt my foot and toe cut my leg and elbow and after a day had bad pain and bruising on my ribs. Nobody died and they did check on me the next day , but maybe a bottle of wine ,a dinner voucher even a coffee would have been appropriate and eased my pain a little
