Beautiful Grounds, Ocean Views and...

Liked: I love how spacious the villas are. I really love the big bathtubs in each master bedroom. The tubs are not jetted, but still wonderful. I like the backlight wall next to the dining room table. It truly is a beautiful space. Full kitchen, which is always super clean. The view of the ocean on the property. There is a brisk walk to Crystal Cove. The bartenders are always friendly. This is really a great place to relax. Whether you want to hang out with friends or escape for a romantic getaway, the Marriott Newport Coast Villas will not disappoint.
Disliked: There isn't really anything not to like about The Marriott Newport Coast Villas. This place is great. I mean, if I'm nit-picking I'd sat, I wish check-out time was later. Check-out time is 10:00am, when I'm away, I don't get up until 10:00am. Also, a spice rack in the kitchen would be a nice addition, but I guess that might require too much maintenance or expense.

Disliked: We stayed in 1612. On checking in we were not told how to access our room on the lower level as the stairs would have been difficult for us. We eventually found found a person that told us it was in the next building.

Noise, noise and more noise-...

Liked: The internal layout of the villa was roomy.The swimming pool was good.
Disliked: Noise from the external road.Noise from the service yard that our balcony looked onto where the noise started at 7am. Noise from other guests ( not that the guests were being very noisy, just poor build quality meant you could hear footsteps, running water etc).Do not accept a room in building 3400 if you want a quiet rest!!
