Marriott Syracuse Downtown

Our reservation was mixed up but we are very thankful that the hotel staff went out of their way to make sure we had a room for the night. The room was clean.

Liked: It is clean.
Disliked: Breakfast @ the restaurant was not very good but was very costly.

The staff were excellent. Had to switch my reservation and it was no problem. Clean rooms and a good view. Highly recommend.

Liked: Very courteous and prompt.

Exceptional

Liked: Attended my friends wedding at the hotel and stayed for a week. Room was lovely, staff were fantastic and the bar downstairs also fantastic. Good location just a few minutes walk from downtown Syracuse

Disappointing

Liked: The breakfast location was nice. The staff at the restaurant were friendly .
Disliked: The chair in the bedroom was in bad shape. They can use a cover if they can't change it. The bathroom needs more attention. One side of the sink was clogged. The toilet paper holder was didn't stay in place. Every time you touch it was falling. There were so many extension cords around the bedroom. One of the lamps never turn on. The shower wasn't very clean. The wallpaper was a little damage in some places.

Disliked: there was a stain on the carpet in our room. disgusting for a 5 star hotelservers and manager at the outdoor restaurant did not clean off tables for over an hour after the guests left

Disliked: Lack of attentive staff, left us locked outside of the property for 10-15 min in the middle of the night when we were trying to check in. Pre approved the check in time but was not met with accommodation or attention. Called the phone number multiple times and also hit the call button.

Liked: The place was beautiful. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They paid attention to any inconveniences that could occur and proactively solved them.
Disliked: I liked it all. I loved the historical aspect.

Disliked: The triple charged and I still haven’t received my refund. The shower was moldy and dirty, the hallway smelled like stale cigarettes
