Liked: The slide closes at 6:00 p.m. which seems way too early, especially when the sign posted says open until "dusk". The sun doesn't set until 8 p.m. in the summer and the slide itself was disappointing. My daughter went down and she was stopped at the very end. She literally had to jump off the slide to get into the pool. Marriott can do better.

Liked: It is a beautiful place but the hold they have on my debit card for , let’s see, 8 days is ridiculous. You pay double when you check in and then they give you back your money when “Oh idk I still haven’t received it”

Amazing luxury summer getaway for...

Liked: The property is something special. The architecture and desert surroundings are unique and striking. My kids were overjoyed by the pool, hot tubs, and slide. I loved my little shady spot with a view of the pool. The staff I encountered were helpful, friendly and professional. I was so happy I went during the summer special so I could enjoy this unique experience.
Disliked: It took a bit to walk from our car to our room due to the unique architecture, but that was a small price to pay. It would be helpful to have info available on how to operate the coffee machine (the coffee pod has its own tray you insert), tv (you have to hold down the power button for a looong time), and the wifi (I didn't even bother), but those are miniscule issues given the luxury and great service.
