Marriott Jacksonville Downtown

The hotel is in a great location, convenient to downtown. The Prime Osborn Convention Center is located across the street. Parking is located in front of the hotel. The only negative was we were charged twice; my advice would be pay at the hotel.

Liked: The hotel was very nice.
Disliked: We were charged for the room twice; paid online, then charged at the desk.

This hotel was convenient to the Symphony Hall. There are not many restaurants nearby. Juliette's restaurant is expensive for the service you receive.

Liked: The front desk staff were very helpful.
Disliked: We checked in and were assigned a room that smelled of pipe/cigar smoke. Called the front desk and got reassigned.

Great rooms; excellent staff and good room service.

Liked: Everything except the hotel restaurant.
Disliked: Julliettes.

The mattress on our bed was so uncomfortable that my wife could hardly walk the next day. We came for the Race for the Cure but could not participate because of her aches and pains.

Liked: The customer service was great. The moment we walked in we were greeted by smiles. The hotel was across the street from the Symphony Performance Center.
Disliked: It was smoking in the hotel. I could not sleep at all. I do not know why people smoke in the hotel.

Nice location and clean place....

Liked: The location was right across the street from the event. The hotel was very clean and the receptionist was nice at check-in and check-out.
Disliked: The valet parking was overly crowded making the front entrance congested. No microwave in the rooms and the ice machine was broken. Also no iron in the room. The lighting was very dim in the room. I feel like all these things are necessities. And my view supposed to been river-view. The river view wasn’t nothing like that picture. And I received a handicap room which I didn’t purchase. The beds are extremely low.
