The location was great for what we came to Lansing for. However for the price we paid it was not the best. We asked for adjoining rooms as we had 3 adults and 5 teenagers and when we got the rooms there was no couch in the king. No one mentioned that the adjoining rooms, the king doesn't have a couch. Which that was useless to us. So we had to switch rooms and the girls had to have their own room which we were not comfortable with but at that point what could we do. They had no options of cots, no fridge or microwave and there wasn't even complimentary coffee in the lobby. When asked, we were directed to the restaurant. For the price we paid, there should have been more. I've stayed at many hotels and have paid half the price and still had more complimentary options. Very disappointed.

Disliked: Staff level of service is ok but can be much better. Checking in was troublesome bcuz of an issue with the credit card machine and they kept blaming me. I had to put on $600 cash for them to check me me. The next day the machine worked and it turns out it was the hotels problem! The day of checking out they knocked on my room 3 times for me to check out and threatened me with an extra charge. I left 12:30 instead of 12!!! That’s a very nasty way to treat a guest. Note that I’m and elite gold no bonvoy member

Disliked: The bathroom wasn't very clean, apparently the previous guest shaved or something and there were still some tiny hairs in the sink.We wanted to sleep together in one bed (either queen or king) and they couldn't accommodate our needs and we were sent to a bedroom with 2 separate beds.Lighting of the room was very bad.
