The Spotlight on Marqueen Hotel

Vintage Vibes Just Steps from Seattle's Concert Scene

The Marqueen Hotel blends early 20th-century elegance with modern comfort in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood. Housed in a 1918 building, this boutique stay features hardwood floors, period furnishings, and charming touches throughout. Just a few blocks from the Space Needle and surrounded by theaters and music venues, it’s a stylish base for your concert night out.

Why Concert-goers love it

You’re just a short walk from the Seattle Center and some of the city’s most iconic performance spaces. Since the hotel is tucked into a quieter part of Queen Anne, it offers a peaceful retreat after the encore. With check-in from 3:00 PM and relaxed vibes, it’s easy to settle in before heading out to your show. Public transport and rideshares are readily available for late-night returns.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a unique, stylish place to crash after the gig
  • Solo travelers checking off a dream tour stop
  • Couples turning a concert into a weekend getaway
  • Fans who want a cozy, quiet space to recover post-show
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who want charm without the price tag of downtown luxury

Food and Drink Options

The hotel’s own Tin Lizzie Restaurant and Lounge serves dinner and cocktails, plus outdoor patio seating for warmer nights. Guests get a 15% discount, and there's even room service and bottle service available. If you’re up late, Caffe Ladro, right off the lobby, has great espresso and pastries in the morning—perfect for that post-concert sleep-in.

Nightlife Options

Tin Lizzie offers a relaxed spot for a drink before or after your show, and the surrounding Queen Anne neighborhood has plenty of walkable bars, lounges, and casual spots to explore. You're also minutes from the nightlife energy of downtown and Belltown.

What People Say

Guests love the historic charm and spacious rooms, often noting the boutique feel and peaceful location. Many highlight the proximity to venues and the friendly, helpful staff. The building’s character and local vibe make it a favorite for repeat travelers seeking something more personal than a chain hotel.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests mention that the hotel lacks elevators, which can be a challenge if you're carrying heavy gear or luggage. The historic design means no central air conditioning, but Seattle’s mild climate usually keeps rooms comfortable.

The Bottom Line

For music fans looking for a stylish, historic stay close to Seattle’s top concert venues, the Marqueen Hotel hits all the right notes.

For a reasonably priced overnight stay to attend a concert or hockey game you can't really go wrong as it is close to the arena; decently clean/well kept and the staff were helpful and very friendly. We would stay there again if we returned.

Liked: Close to Climate Pledge Arena. Took less than 5 minutes to walk there. Given the age of the building the hotel overall was clean and the staff were friendly. Sound proofing to outside noise was very good for a hotel.
Disliked: The plug in the bathroom tub did not work; tub finish was peeling off. Valet parking was expensive and there were no other options other than parking on street which was sketchy. No decent restaurants nearby but there may be some if you walked outside of the area or drove. The neighborhood was sketchy, later walking back to hotel. We ran into a couple of scary people with one man walking down the road with his pants pulled to his knees exposing himself.

Excellent from check in with Christopher who was so friendly to the valet parking which made it super easy, stress free. Our room was so quiet, the bed and pillows were amazing. We will be back.

Liked: Valet parking, and Christopher at the front desk. Made check in flawless. Our room was upgraded and it was amazing. Super comfortable bed and pillows and the room was so quiet we slept in.
Disliked: Nothing.
