A stay in a historic...

Liked: A chance to stay in a historic property in the historic city centre. Walking distance to all the key points of interest in Rennes.
Disliked: Bathroom limited. A small bath no shower cubicle.

Bad choice for us but...

Liked: Excellent location. Friendly owner.
Disliked: Very old premises. Difficult stairs to maneuver w luggage. Floors very noisy. No stand up shower in bathroom. No where to put toiletries in bathroom. Beautiful cat in house but unfortunately I have allergies.

Wonderful stay in a beautifully...

Liked: The provided breakfast was excellent and more than enough for 2 adults and two children. The apartment itself is incredible, the building is incredibly old and fascinating to see, the quality of the workmanship on the updates is very high, the decoration is thoughtful and elegant. This is without a doubt one of the most unique and interesting places we have ever stayed, we've been twice now and hopefully someday will stay again. The location is excellent for accessing Rennes. It was fairly hot while we were there, but it was plenty cool enough with the fans. Possibly during a heatwave it might be too hot.
