Brilliant stay

Liked: Excellel nt location very quiet but near to amenities very good staff

Disappointing

Liked: We have stayed here many times also when it was the Marmaduke each time exceptional but one member of breakfast staff abrupt and our room wasn’t very disappointing on this occasion
Disliked: Size and price of room No 4 is not a delux room it a very small room, bathroom tiny no where to unpack etc.

Liked: This was a trip for our 21st wedding anniversary and we were upgraded to a lovely 4 poster room.Staff and hotel were lovely.Decor quirky and lovely bar area.Good location to City centre.

Perfect location for York city...

Liked: Reception staff were very welcoming. We did arrive early but this wasn't a problem. Ground floor bedroom was excellent, well equipped. Lovely decor. Brilliant wet room.Spotlessly clean. The kit kats are a nice touch. Beautiful garden.
Disliked: Continental breakfast was disappointing. We don't eat cereals or porridge, so limited choice, which for £11.95 each didn't feel good value for money.
