Disliked: Bad attitude up on arrival we were early but was greeted with well your rooms not ready Think the guy is in the wrong job very little interaction, no interaction at breakfast food out in front of you then walked off … not much choice couldn’t have seconds of anything … as a couple running this never saw the wife. … This is NOT a boutique b&b far to expensive for what we got..

Exceptional stay!

Liked: What a gem! This is a beautiful hotel in York. A very high standard in terms of decor gives The Grand Hotel a run for its money! Really cosy, clean rooms. Full-size kettle, mugs and lovely classes with a nice touch of chocolate biscuits.Lovely toiletries in the bathroom and a fan in the room. Staff are super polite and helpful. Lovely breakfast and on-site parking. Fantastic location as only a 10-minute walk into the city centre. Look forward to staying again.
Disliked: At £15 onsite parking was a little on the expensive side. We also took the last space arriving at 2pm some quests will struggle to park on site as only around 14 spaces.

Can’t believe we never stayed...

Liked: Private entrance and lovely room. Good sized en-suite as sometimes these can be small. Lovely decor. Staff very welcoming
Disliked: A little bit noisy in room 15 in the night, a waste pipe I think? but not really a problem
