Liked: We loved everything about Marlfield House. The reception area is stunning. The drawing room bar is equally stunning. It was like staying in a most beautiful home but being looked after in the best hotel you've ever stayed in. The owner and staff were exceptional. The two restaurants were fabulous and very different from each other. The grounds and garden are gorgeous for walking.

Liked: The breakfast was excellent. Huge choice of hot and cold foods cooked to order with superb staff and service. The location is great too. Set in exquisite gardens and located between the lively town of Gorey and the lovely beaches and harbour of Courtown. Two excellent restaurants , The Conservatory or the lovely Duck, with much of the produce used in the delicious dishes coming from the hotel kitchen garden. Lovely walks around the house, tennis courts, a great bar with inside and outside seating, charming rooms and helpful staff make this hotel a great choice. Impossible not to return.
Disliked: This hotel is a real treat. I can’t really fault it.

Liked: Beautiful hotel , bedroom was fantastic. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely meal in the restaurant. Very relaxing bar .
Disliked: I’m not a cat lover so was a bit uneasy when she appeared in the bar.
