Liked: Room very clean, comfortable.Breakfast, excellent and served beautifully hot.All staff extremely helpful, chatty.

Liked: The staff were great, very friendly and helpful.Bed very comfy, the shower was a bit tricky as had to step up into it and cubicle small.The breakfast was really good.
Disliked: Just the shower and the access to the room, but hey it's a beautiful old coaching inn with loads of character.

Perfect!

Liked: The room was clean and cosy and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The actual hotel is very pretty and conveniently located for visiting Blenheim Palace. The breakfast was delightful!

Superb value - we’ve stayed...

Liked: Super friendly, lovely room, quiet, fab breakfast and overall fabulous value for money. Right across road from Blenheim Palace and a great ice-cream shop (Alfonso’s).
Disliked: Nothing we didn’t like.

Excellant

Liked: the breakfast had everthing you could have asked for and the staff were excellant especially Andrea who was very friendly and obliging. The room was lovely and big and everything was catered for. Blenheim Palace was right on the doorstep which was the main reason for our visit. There was also 10% discounts in various restaurants and pubs in the town which was great.
Disliked: There wasn't anything I didn't like

Liked: A characterful building, free car park, good location, very nice staff. An excellent breakfast.
Disliked: Difficult stairs to access attic room, but it is a 15th century coaching inn! No ensuite single rooms, but I was upgraded without having to ask and with no extra cost.

Lovely Welcome and Good Location

Liked: Staff always very friendly and welcoming. Brilliant location for Blenheim Palace and close to some great pubs/ restaurants. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable.
Disliked: Could maybe do with some updating in places, although appreciate it is an old building with lots of historical character.
