Fabulous hotel

Liked: Lovely friendly staff who were so keen to help. A very warm welcome and a welcoming drink! Nice touch. Coffee/tea available in the reception area. Comfortable rooms which were very clean and spacious.
Disliked: We had booked three single rooms and they have a height restriction which I didn't realise on booking. Those rooms are really only suitable for people 5'5" and under.

Great Hotel in the Old...

Liked: Air Conditioning in an unusual heat wave in June in Switzerland. Great receptionvery comfy bed. great location. Breakfast OK
Disliked: No coffee or tea in the room but available at reception. Room had an accessible bathroom which was a bit strange. Breakfast included was OK but service was a little abrupt

Thoroughly recommend. Not cheap but...

Liked: Its location was second to none right in the middle of Old Town. The staff were superb, and so friendly and helpful. We were offered a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival and there was a little Swiss cookie on our pillows in our room which was very large and clean and had big windows. The windows shut out all the noise at night and there was ac so no problem. The bathroom was very cool in black and white and had all the mod cons. Also a big window which was nice. The wooden floors were quirky and sloping….my suitcase rolled to the other side of the room.
Disliked: The only small fly in the ointment for us was having neighbors who came back late at night and thundered back and forth on the wooden floors above us. That was really annoying. But the rest of the time I could not fault the hotel.
