Central location and delicious breakfast

Liked: Incredibly delicious breakfast - you should book for this alone! The decoration in the house is very cozy and it's only a five minutes walk from the harbour in downtown Victoria.There is parking available onsite, and the hosts were flexible with the ability to extend our stay. The staff is very kind.
Disliked: The house is creaky, so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

Friendly, comfortable, charmingly quirky B&B...

Liked: LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. In a quiet street within easy walking distance of Fisherman's wharf, the central harbour-front and the shore at Beacon Hill Park, Marketa's is probably in the best location in Victoria. Park your car in the private parking and forget about it for the rest of your stay. Marketa's is a quirky, comfortable bed-and-breakfast in a charming, artsy, traditional house, After a warm welcome from Marketa, our private room at the front was clean and comfortable, with a shower, toilet and, unusually, a large jacuzzi. A set breakfast served from 08:30 to 09:30 was generous and friendly service from Marketa's team impeccable. Overall, we're very pleased to recommend Marketa's.

A Victoria Gem Indeed

Liked: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marketa’s! The property is within a few blocks of the ferry terminal and harbor area making it very convenient and walkable most everywhere in central Victoria.The property itself is charming, inviting and very well attended. The owner and staff were absolutely delightful, most welcoming and attentive to any need. Breakfast, a choice of several options, was delicious with beautiful presentation too! Staying at Marketa’s was a wonderful experience and without question, top of the list to visit again. Thank you!
