lovely historic hotel

Liked: location was wonderful, walking distance to everything and across from market. room was clean and comfortable. great that coffee and fruit was in the lobby on the same floor. enjoyed the pool and views on the rooftop!
Disliked: more amenities in the hotel besides just the high-end restaurant-- not much in the way of a lobby.

Great location to explore Charleston

Liked: Location provided a walkable base to beautiful areas in Charleston & pool area was great!
Disliked: Pool closed very early for summer months & it sometimes felt like staff weren’t ‘allowed’ to interact with guests (very sad)

Excellent Hotel in a beautiful...

Liked: My wife and I visited Charleston for the first time in April.We absolutely loved it - fantastic food, unbelievable exercise scene and just a beautiful place.The Market Pavilion Hotel is perfectly located to walk everywhere in Charleston - close to the daily market - accessible to restaurants across the road and shopping is only a 5 mins walk away.There is a cute gym in the hotel, not very big but had everything I needed.Every day we found fresh pastries, fruit and coffee near the elevator which was a nice touch.We spent quite a bit of time at the rooftop pool which is 5 Stars!
Disliked: The rooms were a bit small especially when paying quite high to stay in Charleston.

Liked: Perfect location. Love the art deco decor and the premises are absolutely sparkling. Staff was super courteous and helpful.

Wonderful birthday stay, right in...

Liked: Excellent location, and amazing property! We loved the rooftop pool and bar, drinks are a little pricey as expected. The room was really clean and well appointed. The nightly turndown service and housekeeping really was a nice touch, as was the morning coffee and afternoon snacks on each floor.
Disliked: Nothing in particular!

Superb

Liked: Great service, quiet, lovely bathroom, super to have morning coffee and rolls right in the hallway, restaurant was superb. Loved the Bulgari bath products. Luxury towels.
Disliked: The room decor is a tad worn - a spruce up especially carpet would put this hotel in “perfect” class.
