Lovely inn

Liked: Renovated historic hotel with lovely decorations and modern amenities. Community balcony is a lovely place to enjoy an evening nightcap or morning coffee. Spotlessly clean. Towels are very plush and cooshie! Innkeeper and housekeeper were lovely. Bedding and pillows were very comfortable, as was the bed.
Disliked: This hotel is on the second floor with 20+ stairs. This was not something I anticipated and with bad knees, it was an effort to get up the stairs, esp with luggage. The hotel is in on the main drag through Mariposa so if you are staying during the week, be prepared for some early morning noises (garbage trucks, nearby construction, etc.).

Liked: Mary was so warm and welcoming!Beautiful room!Wonderful location..I walked everywhere I wanted to go.Perfect!
Disliked: I little bit of noise from the back parking lot.Not bad.

Quaint and Comfortable

Liked: Classic/old time feeling while still being clean and comfortable. Mary was great, even gave me a little to-go bag of fruit in the AM. The town is nice too, good food for being in the mountains.

I enjoyed it.

Liked: I booked the wrong date. Mary was willing to give me a room on the spot that night, I am very grateful.The bed was very comfortable.Room was very stylish.
Disliked: The shower head looks a bit old in my room. But didn't affect usage.

Superb

Great place to stay while...

Liked: Perfect location. Just an hour drive from the Yosemite visitor center. There are several restaurants close by.Cozy open balcony. Small breakfast included.
Disliked: The shower head is too low. Only one piece of soap and shampoo.
