Disappointing

Very lovely and relaxing

Liked: Close to home, comfortable and a lovely place to getaway for a night with the girls.
Disliked: The room was a little small and would have preferred one of the bigger rooms for 4 of us. Room was also too hot.

Never again

Liked: Poor…Ran out one morning…no pastries etc
Disliked: Gfirst room offered to us..a disgrace

Liked: I was visiting to play golf so the location was fantastic with great views
Disliked: Friendliness was slightly lacking from certain staff at times plus there was a lack of respect from other guests late at night

Liked: Convenient for everywhere I was visiting. It has a lovely pool. Staff are all friendly and efficient.
Disliked: Far too hot. Heating on high, had to turn the towel rail off to keep the heat down and have the window open all the time. In the corridor the windows were open but next to the windows the radiator was on very hot. In this day and age this seems a ridiculous waste of money and energy. This is Scotland, east cost Scotland ! No one is expecting temperatures to be like the Mediterranean. It is so hot in the hotel it is very difficult to judge what to wear outside!

Disliked: Noisy restaurant with large noisy party booking.

Attended friends wedding which was...

Liked: Location was truly stunning
Disliked: The bathroom in our room was very, very shoddy, particularly the bath surround that was very worn and looked like it had been on and off a number of times and not replaced or finished off well.The toilet was appealing with the seat obviously being too small for the basin meaning that when flushed soiled water flushed under the seat and onto the surrounding ceramics. The toilet seat fixings were gruesome!

Very disappointing and probably will...

Liked: The breakfast was good and started early, which was important for us to start our journey home. The table for two could have been more comfortable at a table for four. Free parking was very much appreciated. The lift was great.
Disliked: The 'fridge rattled all night keeping us awake. The creaking floor in our room made it impossible to sneak into the loo in the middle of the night. The mattress was lumpy. Showers in bath tubs are dangerous, in general, and too small (my former rugby playing husband didn't have enough room) so after a long drive from East Anglia, there was no opportunity to refresh for the next leg of our journey. Of all of the accommodations we had on our journey, from B&Bs to smaller hotels, yours was the least comfortable offering the lowest value for money. This was room 304.
