Very good stay. Very welcoming.

Liked: Clean and tidy. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Very well situated.
Disliked: Bed was very soft. But was no problem as only stayed for one night.

Disliked: Although there was breakfast available if you wanted, no snacks or evening meal. Were offered the use of dining facilities at their sister hotel along the road..Bar area could have been a bit more comfortable.

Disliked: Lack of A/C is understood, but then there should be generous ventilation available.

Quirky hotel in ideal location!...

Liked: Marine lodge is located right on the beach, just a couple of minutes walk to the pier, high street and amusements. The hotel was quiet and the staff was lovely. Breakfast wasn’t included but we stayed for it and glad we did! Portion size was excellent and the quality was fantastic! It’s a shame we live 2 hours away or we’d be regulars for the breakfast!
Disliked: The hotel is a little dated, but to be honest that’s part of the charm! Had we known we may have upgraded to a bigger room as it was a little small. But we only stayed for 1 night so it wasn’t really a problem. We stayed in one of the top floor rooms on one of the hottest days, could do with fans or air con but again, it wasn’t bad enough to be a problem
