Marina Motel

Superb

Liked: Great hosts and such a stunningly beautiful courtyard, with parking!Aesthetically very pleasing and it was easy and affordable getting into the central parts of town with an Uber from there.
Disliked: The rooms were a bit snug but we managed fine. More importantly: we didn't know we had to actively ask for housekeeping to do anything. So for 3 nights we had no beds made, no trash removed, no towels changed, nothing. If guests stay longer than 2 nights the least they could do is ask if we need anything, or if not doing beds/towels by default (weird!!), at least remove trash. We were at reception every day asking for coffee so it's not like we weren't reachable. We pay so much, so coming back to an uncleaned room is just not nice.

Disliked: VERY VERY NOISY. Super duper loud facing the street. Even in middle of the night so much car traffic and noise.Also very small space for family of 4.

Exceptional

Liked: Surprise about the small room, but set up was very cute. Shower was wonderful and very updated.
Disliked: One Room was extra tiny. No window screen allows spiders/ bugs to come in.

Gem of a Motel

Liked: An exquisite Motel with beautiful decor & furniture. A fully equipped kitchen with little touches throughout and an equally good bathroom beautifully furnished throughout.Lovely flowers outside & Plenty of garages for parking.Easy access to all attractions in San Francisco.
Disliked: Absolutely nothing!

Pleasant

Liked: There’s a park nearby for walking dogs, some good restaurants within a short distance, the property is beautiful and cozy, the staff was friendly, and it’s pet-friendly.
Disliked: The kitchen window didn’t close completely, the bed and pillow were uncomfortable, and it was noisy (despite the windows facing the inner courtyard).

Liked: great location and wonderful staff
Disliked: Rooms on the street with kitchenette are cool, but the traffic is very, very loud. Get a room inside the complex if you do not need a kitchen or if you are a heavy sleeper they may work fort you.

Liked: The place was awesome. Very cute and very friendly staff. The location was close to coffee, restaurants, bars and marina. The shower and bath facilities were nice and the bed was comfy.
Disliked: They warned us, but the street facing rooms were a bit noisy. Nothing too unexpected for being in the city.
