Great, Economical Place To
Liked: Room was very clean, bed was very comfortable. Very pleasant.
Disliked: There was nothing that I didn't like. It is a small place, so no grounds to go and walk around which I usually desire, but the location and setting is very nice.

Wish I could keep this...
Liked: This quaint property is nestled in a residential area with easy access to downtown San Rafael. It?s location makes it ideal for enjoying an SF or wine country weekend at a steal of a price. It was our first time here, and we enjoyed the immaculate and comfortable accommodations as well as the serene tree-lined grounds that give the lodge a secluded feel a little above street level. The property is a remodeled 1950?s style motel. You may hear a little road noise during the day, but the rooms have thick walls, and it was very quiet at night. This place is family-owned, and we had a lovely chat with the gracious owners. We?ll be back!
Disliked: The driveway is a little steep, but it?s nothing to be of concern. You sit above the street with rooms set back from the road.

A pleasant stay and good...
Liked: Rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable - close to freeway and a value; friendly staff
Disliked: I wished 4th street hadn?t been closer than a 30 minute walk thru a scruffy neighbourhood / so we thought we would be able to walk but had to drive to everything - also rooms were small and dark

Relaxed, quiet, comfortable, and restful,...
Liked: Location and general vibe were very chill - exactly what we needed to sit down, have big discussions, and make serious life plans :)
Disliked: No bath tub, but that really doesn't matter.
