Relaxed Comfort Just Minutes from Salina’s Stages

Marifah Inn Salina is a friendly, no-fuss inn offering a clean and comfortable stay in northern Salina. This smoke-free property caters to travelers seeking value without sacrificing convenience, with easy access to major roads and local entertainment. Whether you're in town for a show or a short weekend escape, this spot delivers solid amenities like free Wi-Fi, complimentary parking, and even a hot tub for post-concert relaxation.

Why Concert-goers love it

Located close to Salina’s main music venues, Marifah Inn is a great base for catching a show without stress. Parking is free and plentiful, so you won’t have to worry about your car while you’re out enjoying the night. The quiet setting also makes it a good spot to wind down after the noise of a concert. Though nightlife options aren't on the doorstep, the hotel’s late check-out at 12:00 PM is perfect for sleeping in after a long night.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a budget-friendly crash pad
  • Solo travelers chasing that once-in-a-lifetime gig
  • Couples making a weekend of it
  • Fans who want a quieter space to recover post-show
  • Budget-conscious music fans who'd rather spend more on tickets than lodging

Food and Drink Options

While there's no on-site restaurant, the inn features BBQ facilities if you’re up for a little DIY dinner. Several casual dining spots are just a short drive away, making late bites easy to find. Breakfast options may be limited on-site, so plan to grab a morning bite nearby after your show.

Nightlife Options

Though the hotel itself doesn’t offer bars or live music, you’re a short drive from downtown Salina where you’ll find local bars and lounges with live sets and regional brews. It’s a quiet stay, but the excitement is never far.

What People Say

Travelers appreciate the clean rooms, friendly service, and easy check-in process. The hot tub is a welcome perk after a night on your feet, and the free Wi-Fi keeps you connected for post-show uploads and sharing your concert memories.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests note that the hotel is a little dated in style, and while the amenities are solid, there’s not much in the way of luxury. Limited dining on-site means you’ll want to plan meals ahead, especially after a late show.

The Bottom Line

If you're looking for a budget-friendly, no-frills stay close to Salina’s concert scene, Marifah Inn Salina offers clean comfort, free parking, and a quiet place to recharge after the music fades.

As an avid road-tripper, I...

Liked: It was cheap.
Disliked: Yikes. I am not one to disparage a motel because it is imperfect, not fancy or modest. I don’t book a $60 room and expect something grand. I’m not afraid of a place that is rough around the edges or a little gritty or worn. That being said, this place was insanely misrepresented by the photos AND the reviews. I was shocked. The reviews tell a story of a motel with breakfast, and a pool, and hot tub, and cleanliness and safety. All of that is a far cry from reality. The motel is located behind an abandoned gas station, next to a dilapidated building that used to be a restaurant, and the property is covered in trash and junk. The parking lot felt unsafe to be honest, and I am used to traveling alone as a woman and I do not frequently feel unsafe. There appeared to be permanent residents in some of the rooms, which in and of itself is not unsafe, but the vibe was that the property was not well kept and people’s belongings seemed to be strewn about everywhere. An empty cage, blankets, broken furniture… cats sauntered around the property. I love cats lol, that wasn’t a complaint, just painting a picture of the scene. I peeked into another abandoned building on the premises and saw what used to be the pool and hot tub.. drained, empty and in disrepair. Inside my room, a soap bar was opened as if used by someone else. The towels were discolored. There was what actually looked like vomit on part of the bed cover. The TV didn’t work. The bathroom was scary looking, with ceiling tiles missing and an exposed light fixture. The shower and tub looked rusty and gross. I could literally go on and on. I can’t express enough how unsettling this motel was. And I’m kinda pissed that I read so many reviews that painted a completely different picture. The only way this is acceptable is if the other reviews were written a decade ago. Otherwise, I am totally bewildered. Please, don’t stay here. It’s cheap. But it’s not worth it, I promise. Just, wow.

You get what you pay...

Liked: Check in was polite and fast
Disliked: He made someone lead us to our room. He went into our room and checked things. The room smelled strongly of mildew. They removed the carpet and replaced it with vinyl flooring but we walked around barefoot and the bottom of our feet were black. The towel we used was stained. The sheets were clean. The bed was hard as a rock.
