Lovely just a bit uncomfortable

Liked: Ambience and owners. Wonderful breakfast
Disliked: Difficult to control heat in bedroom. The dial isn’t labeled. Fireplace not working

I would most likely stay...

Liked: The breakfast was very good. Curtis makes great French toast. We were also offered bacon, eggs, and a yogurt parfait. In the dining area, there is refrigerator with beverages that you can purchase . On the floor where our room was, there was another refrigerator, a coffee machine, a water cooler, a microwave, and a toaster oven. There are two restaurants on the premises; one that is vegan/vegetarian and another which serves both meat and veggie options.The Inn was quiet and perfectly located.
Disliked: All the Catholic iconography was a little unsettling. Everywhere you look, there are statues or paintings of Jesus dying and Mary crying about it. It was odd. There is even a glassed-off room with an altar, a full sized statue of Mary and more paintings. It makes the Inn feel cluttered and as I said previously, it gives weird vibes.

It was an ok anniversary...

Liked: Tom was very friendly. We only saw Mary a couple of times. We liked the idea of being in the downtown area.
Disliked: The breakfast consisted of the same ingredients every day. Nothing different. There was a TV in the room, but we couldn't get too many channels without subscribing to the streaming services. We didn't need the heat... but we couldn't get the heat to come on, and I did call Tom about it.
