Best hotel we could have...

Liked: I would stay at this hotel again 100 times out of 100! The rooms were spacious, clean, and temperature controlled perfectly. It was in the absolute BEST location - really anywhere in Gaslamp would be great, but I was here for a work conference at the Convention Center and it's so easily walkable there. My husband also accompanied me on this trip and we went to two Padres games, also both walkable. Literally any kind of food you could want is around this hotel. The pool and bar are amazing! Happy hour from 4-7 every day with a friendly bar staff. Further, some Margaritavilles are timeshare spots - this is NOT that, so don't be afraid to book this true hotel!
Disliked: If I had to complain about something, I would say they didn't play enough Jimmy Buffet. I am sure that the workers and other people reading this will LOVE that, but I maybe heard him twice over our four day stay. I would love to hear more of him!

It was great. Walking distance...

Liked: I liked the the rooftop pool bar. I liked having a strip of grass outside for the dog. I liked that San Diego is so open to having dogs.
