Liked: Great location and lots of places to choose from when it came to foods
Disliked: Not a lot to do in Walla Walla

Liked: The food was great, location was fantastic.
Disliked: the room we stayed in was uninviting and the bathroom was tiny. We paid $250 for a room that was 1 step above a room at the quality in.

Great location, service, exceptional food,...
Liked: The staff were superb. Everyone was extremely helpful and the location could not have been better to all the wine tasting stores in town. You can walk to everything. This hotel had 3 tasting rooms in the hotel.
The food was excellent. We ate two breakfasts and two dinners at their lounge called "The Vintners". Happy hour prices were great too.
The room coffee was surprisingly good too!
Disliked: The elevator was so slow we took the stair several times and our room was right across the hallway from it so the "DING" was really loud every time it stopped at our floor. Went to watch TV and it didn't work and it was too late to call because we had already put our PJ's on. There was one public bathroom we walked by that stunk to high heavens on the 1st floor of our west building. Wow! After the first two times we walked through the parking lot instead.

We had looked forward to...
Liked: The breakfast looked excellent - nice variety, but it was all cold. Apparently the sterno wasn't lit.
Disliked: Our bedroom was in the newer wing of the hotel: hard bed; small bathroom; toilet to fit a kindergartner - hard to get up and down on; none of the luxury pictured in the on-line image; horrible art in the room.

The best time ever at...
Liked: First and foremost was Jonathan Grant. He treated my sisters, niece and I like we were rock stars. He upgraded us to a beautiful room and got us connected with a local driver that took us to area wineries, which was a first time for us. He was genuinely kind and interested in our Walla Walla adventures every day and gave us many wonderful suggestions of places to go in this great town. The room and bedding were extremely comfortable and the free sit down breakfast served was wonderful with choices we were happy with...Had great time in lounge which served delicious healthy appetizers.
