Marco Polo Motel

The front desk person was a sweetheart. Rooms are small and a little dated, but the room was clean and met our needs for the night as we were in town for a concert. Will stay again.

Liked: We got Kurt Cobain's room! Super nice staff too!
Disliked: Rooms are slightly dated, but otherwise a great stay.

Sometimes you don’t get what...

Liked: Clean but very old. Looks like new carpet.
Disliked: Shower was a slow drainer. Bed had a dip in the middle. Only a few channels worked on the TV. Every motel/hotel has a hair drier in their rooms. We went down to the office to get one. Didn’t work. Won’t be using booking.com again.

Good value!

Liked: Staff were friendly and super nice, specially Jonathan. The bed was firm and good for me. It's very basic, not for my standards but considering the good location and how expensive Seattle is, it was a good value.
Disliked: Cleaning service forgot to clean the fridge but the room and bathroom were clean. Bathroom door did not close so at night we had to jam it with a towel to avoid the light from the bathroom window.

The last good affordable hotel...

Liked: Really exceptional experience checking in, the hotel was super friendly and just adjacent to the express buses into downtown. Also a nice walk to Fremont which is a super chill neighborhood.
Disliked: Room was a little funky (bed was soft in the old-mattress way, room had a litte mildewy smell without the windows open) but really in great shape and better than expected for the price.

Liked: Easy location for cars to park and access to city busses. Super friendly staff that went above and beyond!!
