Perfect location and fantastic staff

Liked: From start to finish our stay was fantastic! The staff were incredibly helpful and the hotel was a great base to go and explore the city from. The reception is 24/7 so you are able to leave your hotel key before heading out for the day which was really useful.The room had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable and I would stay here again without hesitation.

Liked: The location, very good connected via metro station Republique.Very friendly staff.
Disliked: Very mediocre breakfast, croissants were not fresh, coffee machine was giving hot chocolate instead of coffee and you could feel it was not cleaned regularly.Is ridiculous to call the room "double room" when you do not have space to move around, the bed was taking all the space, there are no nightstands just 2 chairs

Liked: A very comfortable, clean, cozy hotel - surprisingly quiet given the location on a Main Street. Our rooms were toward the back and we slept very well in the comfortable bed. The staff were all very kind and professional.

Liked: It was what we needed. Clean comfortable bed. We knew that rooms in Europe tend to be small but the bed was a good size and comfortable. Had little nooks around where you could sit and relax. A small cute balcony on the top floor. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect for public transportation to all the attractions. The area was lively and safe with plenty of options for food and cafes.
Disliked: I really have nothing bad to say about the location.

Avoid at all cost.

Liked: Nothing except its location near our conference center.
Disliked: When we arrived and entered the room, a very bad smell was coming out of the bathroom. We immediately told the reception staff, which knew about it but couldn't do anything but spray a very large dose of smell remover. Obviously it didn't remove the smell. We were locked into this highly chemical, unbreathable air and the terrible smell of the bathroom. Opening the window could have been an option but we were on the high trafic boulevard du temple. So we insisted again and said "Look, you should come to the room and smell for yourself" which they did, and actually confirmed. So the receptionist looked again in the system and found a room that was possibly available, even though the sink wasn't working. We told him it's fine, we can manage for one night. So we went into this room, and then we realized that the room was actually not free and someone was obviously sleeping in this room since the bed was not made and some belongings left over in the room. We told the receptionist again that either they clean up the room either we get reimbursed and take another hotel. He said he couldn't do anything again. So we had no option - it was either a dirty room with someone might be sleeping in it or the smelly room. In the morning, we spoke to the manager, and he clearly said he couldn't do anything, not even a discount, not even an apology. It was the worst service I've ever had in a hotel.
