Disliked: Rooms were tiny and smelt of cigarettes. The bathroom was quite grimy. Overall the property and reception seemed dinged up and old.

Disliked: The carpets were smelly and felt grimy under my feet, I wore shoes the whole time. They were having a system change which meant no access to the tv, no warning or communication about this. It took me 20 minutes of trying before calling reception to be told they’re doing a system change which meant we won’t be able to use any of the programs. The a/c stunk like mould when I turned it on for heating and made the room muggy and gross so I turned it off. The reception staff were slow with check in and stuffed up my room key, setting it to one nights stay meaning the second night I was locked out of my room and had to go to reception to have them program another night on my key. Then, I moved my car out the parking lot and got charged for the 3 days of parking when it was meant to be validated already by them, however the lady at reception initially told me to call the car park and let them know I had paid but I said I felt that is something they should be doing, so reluctantly she did it.

Disliked: I had a problem with the way I was charged by Booking.com. My debit card was charged to "Port Macquarie Leagues Club for "gym membership"., leading to my cancelling the card in the belief I had been scammed.

Good for what I required...

Liked: Close to Roma St train station and St Andrew's Hosp.
Disliked: TV did not work. No night time restaurants within close proximity.
