Liked: Staff was friendly and understanding.
Disliked: The carpet needs to be replaced, and the room is small and clusterfobic. The bathroom vent was super dusty. For a 4-star hotel, it was very disappointing. The majority of the hotel is under construction. There was no mention of it anywhere online when booking apart from stating that the swimming pool is closed due to maintenance. The hot water in the bathroom wasn't working properly either was a luke-warm shower.

A disappointing stay due to...

Liked: Loved the scenic location-it was quiet and handy for anything needed. Breakfast was great.
Disliked: The room was quite pokey. The bathroom cleanliness was far from the standard expected, especially as Mantra have a good reputation. There were also stains on the carpet.

Superb

Liked: Loved Basalt restaurant, food was excellent. View outstanding over ocean. Decor and display of food was fantastic. Plus the staff members were so helpful and friendly.
