Liked: The staff were friendly. The location was good.
Disliked: The rooms really need freshened up. The mattresses in our room were definitely well used. Our bedroom ceiling had a large water stain.

Liked: The hotel is clean and the staff are good as is the location.
Disliked: The carpets are are starting to show their age. Id say it was overpriced for the amenities on offer. Its definitely not 4 star.

Disliked: Staff on reception when I arrived Sunday night could have been better. Not a very warm greeting. No explanation about no evening meals and then I was marched back up the drive to the lodge…. All a bit rushed given I had a long journey and was extremely tired.

Lovely room

Liked: The upgrade was very welcome! The furniture was from a bygone era which really appealed to us. The bed was fabulous as a highlight.
Disliked: Whilst we would not have used the restaurant on this occasion (meeting friends elsewhere), you must sort out the lack of a chef for evening meals. It seems you are sleepwalking into closure.
