Liked: Mother’s Day weekend and we were so looking forward to a lovely dinner in Joseph’s restaurant for our stay at Werribee Mansion! My-oh-my, it was anything but!Frances T’eo listened to my explanation regarding our appalling dining experience, and the pool safety concerns I had, and was genuinely concerned, thank you, Frances. More than anything, I hope the poor communication between staff and whatever issues they were experiencing is addressed for the dining experience of all future customers.
Disliked: The pool had a ridiculous note that had been added to a stand, which was informing customers that the area into the pool was slippery! Seriously! Regardless, my adult son did slide but managed to stay up right!PLEASE, clean the slimey pool surround for your customers’ safety! If cleaning does not address the dangerously slippery conditions, then consider adding an aquatic non-slip matting/skin.Visible and clear first-aid instructions are mandatory. May need multiple signage…

A pleasant stay with room...

Liked: The breakfast is exceptional and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Love to go back again
Disliked: Two little things that we don't like but it won't stop us revisiting again. The Korean chicken that we ordered at night from the kitchen was very dry and overpriced. And the bathroom floor has grime on it.

Beautiful, relaxing and restful especially...

Liked: Location was great (zoo, winery, mansion and rose garden all within walking distance from accommodation). Breakfast was good, plenty to choose from. Staff friendly, helpful and obliging. Especially bar attendant who delivered our wine and food to Library as we sat beside the open fire each night. Plenty to do during our midweek 3 night stay. Acres and acres of scenic walks, great spa and swimming pool, massages available, giant pool table, bar and restaurant and relaxation by fire in library all at accommodation. Also the hours spent looking the Mansion was interesting.
