Nice location.
Liked: Amazing landscape, lots to do onsite or near by.

Very good
Liked: The bed was comfortable, our room was rather small, but the whole bathroom behind a glass sliding door was strange.Breakfast was fantastic.

Good
Liked: Mansion is beautiful and gardens are lovely to walk and relax. The therapists at the spa were very professional and lovely - so were hotel staff!
Disliked: Some parts of the hotel and spa are a bit neglected and could do with some regular cleaning and light renovations. And the breakfast was mid, pastries were stale. Coffee was good though !

Poor
Liked: The grounds and the tour of the mansion.
Disliked: Our room thermostat was broken and when we reported it we were moved to another room with the same issue. Its small 26sq room was stuck on 25 degrees and the bathroom had the same heat but with underfloor heating. The first night we got no sleep. We complained that and we had a maintenance person look into. 30 mins later we were advised we would be moving l. Then we're told we had the same issue in the other room and that they were calling an external company too fix it. Desperate I tried to get a different room where we could open a door or window on and was told they were sold out and the windows could not be opened. Around 4.45 Pm 8 hours after we reported the issue the maintenance person finally came in and opened 2 windows instant relief. Only problem was we had dinner booked in Werribee at 6pm and returned at 9pm. Finished watching a movie and went to sleep. The thermostat still kept going up and down all night. I had to sleep with 1 sheet on. We were given a bottle of red wine as compensation however I can't drink alcohol. This was meant to be a get away for my bday to celebrate after the death of my dad. Unfortunately it was not good at all. If I didn't have dinner booked for Sat night I would have left early the first room bed has no support at all the 2nd room was ok
