Mansfield House Hotel

Disliked: My room was under the reception area. The room would be vastly improved by installing blackout curtains as the lights illuminating the front of the hotel are bright and on all night.

A very special hotel.

Liked: This hotel exceeded our expectations. It is some time since we enjoyed ourselves so much and this was in a great part due to the elegant surroundings, exceptionally good food, and cleanliness of all areas. The welcome and friendliness of all staff topped a very special stay. Thank you to all and we hope to spend a couple more nights with you later this year.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike.

I would stay again but...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent as were the staff
Disliked: As a person with limited mobility the bathroom was not easy easy for me to shower in

Liked: This is a beautiful hotel, nestled in lovely, peaceful grounds.My room was immaculate, very comfy, cosy and clean.I enjoyed a wonderful full breakfast. The staff were so friendly, polite and helpful.It was a real pleasure to stay there.

Pretty building, friendly staff.

Liked: The property was decorated very nicely so it felt very homey but still quite grand
Disliked: I think I expected our room to be a little larger for £140 but it was comfortable. Walls were thin- I could hear our neighbour snoring all night.

Beautiful hotel in lovely grounds....

Liked: A beautiful hotel in a fantastic setting. The serving staff at dinner and breakfast were excellent.
Disliked: We were aware there was a wedding at the hotel, which did not really affect us, however I think we would have been given better rooms had this not been taking place. We were in the basement, which was away from the noise but a little claustrophobic
