Comfortable and friendly place to...

Liked: The room was lovely with lots of windows and well proportioned. It was also very quiet which is very important! The in house restaurant is good, if a bit rich, and the staff are welcoming.
Disliked: The staff were very nice, but in the morning I couldn’t find a soul. No one in reception, no one in the breakfast area. Other guests were waiting too. It was quite odd. I also did not like the copious amount of room perfume and scented candles - I had to leave mine outside the room. But No deal breakers!

Disliked: The very noisy plumbing that kept me awake most of the night, no food available on Mondays and Tuesdays but was not informed. Bar closed at 10.15 when we returned from the restaurant that we had to walk to in the rain.
