We had lovely stay in...

Liked: All amenities are of a high standard. Bed comfortable. Bathroom well appointed. Big dresser in room for all the bits you accumulate in 4 days. Centrally located in Old Quebec. Easy walking to all the sites, shops and restaurants. Short walk to railway station to Montreal. Car hire office in building with pickup in hotel car park. Laundry a short walk to Rue St Ursule. Breakfast buffet high standard.
Disliked: That I had to carry my heavy suitcase up 3 flights of stairs to reception at midnight.

Disliked: Didn’t realize that your hotel was uphill ona steep grade and steps inside hotel to lobby. I use a walker and 80 years old.

Liked: Good location, with shops and cafes very near.
Disliked: The numerous stairs from the front door to the lobby. This was mentioned in the original blurb, but didn't notice it until just before we arrived.Apart from the breakfast buffet, which is very good value, there is no bar and only a rather chefy 'bistro' in the evening.

Liked: Location and room size and comfort was good.
Disliked: The front lobby is a large set of steps above street level. There is no elevator - which is no problem, except they don't have any staff that will assist you with your bags up those large steps. The front desk staff were fine, but other staff, such as helpful doormen or baggage handlers are non-existent.
