Disliked: Staff seemed lost with out any interest for the fact that we chose them and that their lack of comprehension of the fact that our happiness would bring more interest in their hotel , they should make changes to their policy of who cares

Liked: A decent location in the heart of Old Quebec City.
Disliked: The room was dingy and depressing: yellowed sheer curtains, peeling paint, urine stains around the base of the toilet, and newspaper spread about in lieu of boot trays. A classic case of bargain-basement accommodation at a premium price. Online photos and descriptors were incredibly misleading. There was no one there to check us in at 5 p.m. on a Saturday and the owner-operators took it upon themselves to charge our credit card prior to our arrival and without our permission. Following a call to Booking.com, also unhelpful, the owners arrived; they wanted to argue details and were rude, non-cooperative, and they flat out refused to honor our request for a refund. This was unlike anything we've experienced in our many years of travel. While the facility has some potential, as it stands, it has the look and feel of a family-owned, money-making racket. Along with the questionable cleanliness, fixtures and decorations appear to reflect the owner's quirky sense of taste. Inflexible, grasping, and ill mannered, these owners and their so-called "policies" ruined our anniversary weekend, causing us considerable stress.

Liked: Close to everything you need to see in Quebec City. The staff is unbelievably kind and understanding. Will defenitely be back.

Rustic and clean gem

Liked: Great view and clean and well maintained room and bathroom. Mix of antique furniture
Disliked: 4 floors up by stairs is tough with heavy suitcases.

Liked: Quaint and lovely accommodations. It was Old Quebec and the room was in line with the charm of the area. Very roomy with excellent amenities. Multiple floors. Fabulous proximity to the St.Lawrence River, Hotel Frontenac, and all the beautiful historic sites and buildings of Old QC. Excellent value for the cost. Not high end but very clean and comfortable. Me and my husband were very pleased and plan to go back again.
Disliked: On site parking was very limited. We needed to park about a half kilometre away. Not a huge deal as we were there to wander on foot during our stay and just a minor inconvenience.
