Overpriced for what it is.

Liked: Beautiful location.Luxurious bedrooms
Disliked: Had to queue for up to 45mins for breakfast.Took 40 mins to get a glass of wine and an hour for a bread roll in the Hovey restaurant.Staff were pleasant but felt they couldn’t cope with the number of guests.Also not enough sun loungers by the pool

Charming, discreet, and very comfortable...

Liked: The Manoir sums up the attractions of the beautiful lake region of the Eastern Townships and its hospitality tradition.
Disliked: Some minor maintenance details, easy to fix.

Beautiful and relaxing, but needs...

Liked: Location, incl. location of pool & Jacuzzi overlooking the lake, atmosphere, cachet, mostly excellent staff (Special shoutout to restaurant staff and reception), level of the food and service in both restaurants and the fly fishing class made my dreams come true!
Disliked: Some of the property could use some love and update. We had an accident due to a railing that was completely loose. To their credit, someone came to repair within 5 min., we are luckily there is no concussion. My main complaint is that the food/drink service at the pool took excruciatingly long. And the staff mainly hid in the cabana instead of going around asking if someone wanted something… you had to get up and go see them or luck out flagging them down. Also, the breakfast part that we ordered was wonderful, but the supporting buffet was ridiculous for 50$… no bread or baguette for the cheese, only croissants and nearly empty at opening. I would still return, but this was hit and miss for me. I guess I expect more from a 5 star.
