Beautiful stay

Liked: Big, comfortable room. Great bed. Grounds are beautiful. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff.
Disliked: A little out of the way.

Lovely break in a beautiful...

Liked: Friendly check in and shown to our room. Large room with separate lounge area and large bathroom with bath and walk in shower. Lovely views over the swimming pool.Lovely breakfast - great selection of fresh fruit and a cooked option plus cereals and pastries.We had the 5 course dinner and it was gorgeous - highly recommended.All staff were very friendly and polite.
Disliked: Some drinking water and fresh milk for tea/coffee would have been welcome. Some old cobwebs very clear on the bathroom sash window and a pile of dead flies on the window shelf going down the stairs - just needs a bit more attention to detail - or maybe more staff.

Nice place in good location...

Liked: Breakfast was good but choices were very limited. Staff was very helpful.
Disliked: We returned from dinner to find the doors locked with no night staff. No one mentioned the doors would be locked or an alternative way to get in. We were fortunate to find someone in the kitchen that was able to let us in through the kitchen. Plan ahead if you stay after staff leaves. I think the it was overpriced for what we were offered.

Liked: Blissfully peaceful and un-pretentious, beautiful grounds. The set course dinner was exceptional.
