Calm clean place to stay...

Liked: Quite, calm location, near the wharf, free shuttle that drop us to attractive places like the national mall
Disliked: The coffee corner is limited time + no water boiler nor coffee machine in the room

Beautiful hotel in a good...

Liked: Nicely located, very clean; friendly and helpful staff; beautiful facilities. Afternoon tea served in our room was delicious.
Disliked: Renovation is underway, so many facilities and services are significantly limited. The bar is a small corner of the breakfast area, which is also the lunch area and the dinner area. I would have expected a heated floor in our large bathroom.

Liked: The staff was friendly but not helpful.
Disliked: My wife and I were celebrating our 25 year wedding anniversary. I wanted to treat her to a nice place. For the money I paid I expected a much nicer place/view, not to look at a wall all dayfrom my room, considering the location of the property. Massive construction was going on. The resturant was being rennovated so they set up a corner with the few tables an till charging like it was thje normal resturantin the pictures. I was not notofied that they were doing a major rennovation. You could smell the paint and construction debris on our floor (6th). I told the front desk. She said she would notify the manager to see if we could be moved. Well we are back from out trip and I have not heard from anyone. Very disappointed! I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Liked: Centrally located to the mall and great restaurants. Hotel was sparkling clean and service was consistently outstanding.
Disliked: It was being remodeled so no pool or real work out room. They sent us a note warning us of that but only after we booked .

Great location, ok price wise.

Liked: The staff was excellent. Very helpful as to places to go, places to eat. The doorman ,valets, porters all great. The room was great all around and cery clean. Great location as to why we picked to stay.
Disliked: The price, though we expected that as to location. The prices for the resturant were expensive, though the food was good. Also parking was pricey. Would have appreciated a keurig in the room or coffee for guests in the lobby area.
