Liked: The hotel was reasonably priced, clean, and comfortable. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Location was ideal for the train to London. Shame there was no parking at the hotel but the station allowed overnight parking for a reasonable price and was secure and easy to find and access. Spaces appeared limited so suggest you pre-book.
Disliked: Only one downside, price of breakfast. Continental breakfast was £18 but choice was limited. In hindsight, we probably should have opted for the full breakfast for £21 which gave us access to the continental plus a choice of hot breakfast. Water for the tea was from a flask, it wasn’t an arm enough. The hotel had a coffee machine, why not invest in a machine that does both. Disappointing.

Disliked: Quite expensive for breakfast but probably because Reading is a large town fairly close to London
