Luxurious & historic

Liked: A fabulous historic site that embraces its past. The room was large & airy & we had a lovely little balcony. The bathroom was much larger than we expected. We did not eat here in the evening but we used the bar for pre-show drinks & breakfast in the morning. It was the perfect way to start our day.
Disliked: The food service could have been more flexible, we would have liked to eat before we went out but the restaurant was not available until 6pm, unfortunately.

Liked: Great location in a historical building. Walkable to all the sights and the train station.
Disliked: Room was warm.

Liked: Brilliant location and such an interesting building.
Disliked: Nothing

Cool but meh.

Liked: Really cool building well located near everything. Clean facilities.
Disliked: This place is fine, but the marketing outshines the actual amenities. Room too hot no matter what we did, shower leaked, only one standard outlet in the whole room and no plug near bed (staff leant us an extension cord), no outlet for hair dryer in bathroom.

Liked: Great proximity for walking to Oxford attractions as well as bus service to Belheim Palace and the Cotswolds. The history of the property is amazing.
Disliked: Our room was quite warm and stuffy for sleeping.

A very different hotel expirience.

Liked: Being an ex prison officer i found it very interested in my surroundings. The food was excellent the staff very proactive and curtious . The only negative was actuall getting hear due to the road works. Not the fault of the hotel as it is what it is.
Disliked: Nothing negative other than the road works which isnt the fault of the hotel.

Liked: We booked parking, Ronald is a pro. The hotel has the WOW factor without a doubt. Every member of staff is low key but extremely helpful which is nice
