On the banks of the River Tyne tucked away in Newcastle's vibrant Quayside this stunning 4-star boutique hotel offers stylish rooms superb views a gym and free WiFi throughout. The Malmaison Newcastle is housed in a beautifully converted river-front warehouse just yards from the Gateshead Millennium Bridge. Decorated in deep purples and plush velvets it has a dramatic eye-catching modern style. Many of the boutique-style rooms have fantastic views of the River Tyne. Each has mood lighting and a satellite flat-screen Freeview TV. The private bathrooms have power showers and luxury toiletries. With breathtaking views of the river the bar offers fine wines and fabulous cocktails while the brasserie serves delicious cuisine made with fresh local ingredients. Just to let you know over the next few weeks we are having some external decorating work done to the building to keep us looking fine on the Tyne.

Perfectly located, great views and...

Liked: We were offered a reasonably priced upgrade and had a spacious room with fabulous views of the Quayside, River Tyne and the Baltic Centre. An easy walk to the City Centre and parking situated at the back of the hotel. Breakfast had a wide variety and the cooked options were delicious. We were given a great recommendation for dinner in Newcastle too. We would definitely stay again.
Disliked: Found the lighting in the reception area rather dull - think the whole area could be brightened up. But that is a personal perspective.
