Not worth the extra money

Liked: The suite was a good size and very clean. The bed was comfy. The staff were helpful.
Disliked: The channels on the tv in the sitting area of the suite didn't work. Yhis wasn't a huge issue but is something thay shoild work. The air conditioning also wasn't working on arrival. As it was 32°c out, the room was very warm. We mentioned it to staff and they had somebody take a look whilst we were out. When we arrived back the air conditioning was working and the room was much cooler. We set the air conditioning to 20°c which seemed fine. Around 9 am, the room was down to 17°c and the air conditioning seemed to be on full even though the setting was still 20°c. We pressed the off switch and yet the air conditioning remained on, as theough it was being controlled by elsewhere and not the thermostat in the room. We chose Malmaison as my wife and I rarely get a night out together due to having children with additional needs. For what we spent, it felt like a let down. I would probably go safe with a premier inn next time.

Liked: Service in the breakfast area very slow, although I do accept it was busy, they needed more staff.The cooked breakfast arrived approximately 30 minutes after order, it was very average, cold to lukewarm tasteless and minimal.The decor in the rooms in my opinion were depressing. Room realitively small, with only a double bed. Location. I chose the hotel as it was in walking distance to where I wanted to be, however, I would stay again.

Great location, superb staff, fabulous...

Liked: Location is excellent, situated across the road from Piccadilly train station. More or less central to city centre. Room was clean, spacious, comfortable and well presented. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.
